We are so excited to be able to offer fundraising during these uncertain times. Plants have been such an important part of a lot of peoples well being this past year. We now have a full year of fundraising during COVID-19 and want to share our best practices.
We have streamlined our online website to work well with online orders. We accept credit cards and are able to facilitate the use of e-transfers and PayPal. You are able to see all customer orders and manage this easily through your own team site.
Setting a location for pick-up. Once delivery arrives and is organized, you can set strict times for customers to come one by one. Customers then text or call to let you know they are on their way. You can then bring plants to the car.
Another idea is to get your customers to park in the parking lot and let you know they are there and what they ordered. A volunteer can then bring out the order to them.
The most popular way to pick-up plants is the ‘drive-thru’. Customers can drive up to a door or window and give order details. You can then grab their order and place in the truck or back of the vehicle.
All of these ideas have worked really well for all our teams. We are always open to suggestions and welcome any and all ideas.
